My Story
I have been a professional translator and interpreter, from Japanese to English and vice versa, since 1994.
I have helped numerous companies, organizations, and establishments with their translation needs for all types of collaterals, marketing materials, and correspondence.
In 2000, I also began teaching English to children, which I enjoy very much.
I used to work through translation agencies, but I had a deep desire to do something more with my translation experience.
In 2014, I learned that Hosokawa-shi, the finest Ogawa Washi was added by UNESCO to the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, but it had already enjoyed a status as a Japanese Important Intangible Cultural Asset since 1987.
Why was so little known about it? Soon after, I resolved to study the export and trading business in order to introduce Ogawa Washi to the world.
